Description
The Base unit is the hub of an IoTaWatt monitoring solution. This new version works the same as the V4 IoTaWatt, but also adds additional jacks to natively connect up to three AC Voltage Reference transformers to facilitate direct reference three-phase. Another significant improvement is the use of a new enclosure with integrated wall mount.

Loved it so much I bought a second one. I have an electric heat in my house and live in the cold northeast so knowing when and how my power is being used is important.
If you’re comparing Iotawatt to other units out there, please take into account the support on the forums, it is top notch. Cannot say enough good things about it and a special thanks to @overeasy!

I just received my IoTaWatt yesterday and hooked it up last night. I recently moved from a townhouse to a much larger house and this device has helped me learn the usage patterns of my 2 AC units, well pump, pool pump, and other devices. It has only been a day, so I’m excited to see things over time!
Thanks for building a product that works well, and allows us to tinker and adapt!
My only problem is that I may need another one to monitor more connections. I guess that’s a good problem to have!

I am very impressed with this product. Order arrived in 4 days. Installed it in 45 min. with ease. IoTaWatt started working right away properly. And using the instructions in “Documentation” I learned how to use the device to create outputs and plot graphs. And the customization available is very very useful with my solar system.
I previously owned a TED system for 10 years. It saved me $$$ on my bill, even though it was fidgety to make work. For my new home I discovered they were out of business. Fortunately, I found IoTaWatt, which is much superior and customizable in my opinion.
While setup is very technical and precise, the instructions provide the needed info. The developer thought of everything needed in the software to enable me to get the output data and graphs I need to analyze my consumption/generation of my solar system.
Instructions and communications are very precise, but are also very professional. Thanks for developing this product and software! The design is very intuitive.
Like others have said, the only problem is that it is so much fun I may need to get another one to install on a subpanel to look at those loads!

Absolutely brilliant – I was looking for an affordable way to monitor energy usage locally (not reliant on the cloud like other solutions) and integrate with my existing smarthome solutions and this is it!
Being in the UK, I ordered the VT and CT’s separately as they weigh quite a bit and increase shipping, but the base unit was obviously essential.
It was a breeze to setup with a very active community and excellent documentation – one very happy customer here!
